Some Rules and Tips for Proof Questions:
1) start with one side, usually the more complex one.
2) use known (basic) trig identities.
3) convert to sine and cosine (tanGent, for example).
4) you cannot move terms to the other side. (the equal sign is a wall!)
5) Turn cosecant, secant, and cotant into their simpler, reciprocal forms.
